Any information gratefully received about stallion Bur Zehri (might be gelding now): http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bur+sable
We think he was in the Sussex area around 9-10 years ago, owned by a Mr or Ms Pasquale. Was he shown by Silverdale?
Also, Naseki (or maybe Naseka), mare. Don't know anything about her more than that she supposedly was at the same place as Bur Zehri.

Hi Shah,
I have been looking for Bur Zehri for many years now, all to no avail.....
I have a 15 yr old daughter of his :) I bought Safi Amira from Bur's owner and am still in touch with her. As far as I know he was part owned with another lady in Sussex, her name escapes me at the moment, sounds french? Pasquale?. Bur was indeed shown by Silverdale and I have some very nice pictures of him

Yes the name Pasquale featured on the papers of the horse that I saw too. If you have some pictures that would be great as the owner would love to see them. PM me here with them or email tabitaseagrave[at]hotmail.com

I will have to dig them out and scan them, might take a while as I work full time, will do my best to get them to you within a week if that is ok I even have one of Bur Sable pregnant with Bur
Your post suggests you know Bur's current owner, do you know where he is? Is he well? I would love to hear how he is doing and see photo's. I still talk with his original Breeder, Michelle Morealle, she also bred my mare Safi Amira and would be so pleased to hear he is OK.
Safi Amira is by Bur Zehri out of a Maxwell bred mare called Somrah. Somrah was later owned by Pauline Hitchings(Zircon Nazeer). In her final days she was owned by Alistair Leslie who I know loved her very much. She was a beautiful mare....Who sadly died before her time. |
