Last year Precious put a post on here for me as I had been trying to trace a mare that I once owned, she was sold by the people who I had been forced to sell her to after they promised me she would have a home with them for life.
They wouldn't tell me where she had gone other than 'Hickstead'
The reason has become abundantly clear now that Bambi has been found and I am in contact with her new owners.
They sold her to a 12year old girl - there is no way that Bambi would have been, at that time, suitable for a young girl no matter what her riding ability. They knew full well that if I got wind of what they'd done I would have done my utmost to try and put a stop to it, she could have been seriously injured or worse....
Anyway, she is safe and happy albeit injured. She fractured her pelvis in a typical 'Bambi accident' (took off in a blind panic and somersaulted over a wire fence). The people who own her love her to bits and have nursed her back to health, she is expected to make a full recovery.
I can now draw a line under the whole nightmare, safe in the knowledge that Bambi is loved and happy. They have invited me down to see her which I will do as soon as I can.
A happy ending

That's fantastic news. I remember your posts about Bambi and trying to locate her.
Hope you get to see her soon.
