These are absolutly stunning photos!!!! You have me more confused then ever now!!! We have 2 russian mares as mentioned earlier Mazayah (Mimoza x Palubnik) and BS Emira (Energia x Balaton). We would like to consider putting them in foal in the next 2-3 years time, but do I keep it strictly russian or add in??? You can see how I am easily confused!!! Please help!!! Sabine |

Jane is having trouble with her undersea cables, so has asked me to post this picture - Keren this must be the filly you saw at the show.
MALIYA by MAG (Aswan x Magnolia by Arax) x Maysuna (Haroun x Mandahyla by Indian Magic)
and a little older
This was Jane's first "go" at blending Russian and Crabbet/Old English Think it worked

This is a busy topic - had to trawl back to where I left last night
Anfi - yes Grand is a beautiful horse - such a shame he was little used - he has an endurance offspring in Europe, read it in the Arabian mag. Thank you so much for the lovely pic of Aswan - hopefully dispelling the myths that he had a weak back
Fee - no I didn't, its on one of my to do lists
Timberwolf's girly is lovely and 'versatile' as well
Arabianlover - so looking forward to seeing Ballada at the shows |

Magicdream,
Just an aside - I am certain that you realise that Muscat and Moment are full brothers, both being by Salon x Malpia. Moment stood at stud in Europe before he went to the States but he just didn’t catch on like Muscat did though Muscat was US National Champion.

Afraid I can't find any photos of this mare although someone on here may be able to? If not, have you tried contacting Robbie den Hartog at the Kossack Stud? He seems to have every photo of every Russian horse
In case it helps, here's her pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/melodrama6 and she's Mukomol x Molva |

Melodrama is also the dam of the superb Russian stallion Marcipan (Parusnik x Melodrama) - will look out his photos.
Marcipan is sire of georgiauk's filly and my two fillies Veruchka and Preia |

You beat me to it Lynn - here is one shortly after he arrived at Kossack from Tersk Racing fit
I "think" he only left fillies whilst he was in Europe?? Lovely horse, I hope Kossack can get him back for another season.
