Just a long shot on here as this is a thoroughbred. Does any one know anything about a bay mare registered with Whetherbys as Lady Splodge (by Mark of Esteem out of La Victoria full breeding on AllBreeds). She is about 6/7 years old and we understand last raced in March 09. We think she was last trained by Nichols.
Any information good or bad would be appreciated. We would particularly like to know why she left racing and any health history and her ridden temprement/experiences.

If you contact Weatherbys (Stud Book Dept.), they will certainly be able to give you her racing history and results and her trainer, who may be able to advise re Breeder and Owner, whilst being trained

I have passed all your information on so I expect she will contact the trainers but I would imagine they are pretty busy with their current work load. We had hoped a groom or someone who knew the horse might give us their personal experiences of her. We might get lucky yet!! Thank again
I've put this quiery up for a friend of mine she hasn't got any photos of Lady Splodge racing so that's quite interesting and I will pass that on. What we really want to know is what happened to her from when she left the racing yards. She was not at all keen to load and until recently was in poor condition and very frightened particularly of farriers. She has recently had a bit of a bronco episode when schooling was attempted and we wondered whether there is 'history' we should know about or it's just the joys of spring!!!
