Isnt it truly amazing how much info you can get from your horses dung? Ive been looking after friends 12.2 pony and her thoroughbred x all weekend ,the pony's dung was in short supply ,and a bit loose, the thoroughbred's was a bit pellity but ok and my Herb's dung was lovely and green and lovely lumps!!,I thought to myself thats marvellous he is still finding good grass out in the paddock thats getting a bit thin! Obviously all he does all day is stuff!!Way to go boy!!
I can relate to that Libby, Freddie has been thro the "rather loose" stage nearly every summer for years, then last summer we sorted that and it went the other way, quite solid pellets, now thankfully, he can have as much grass as he wants and they're just right (Gosh!! this sounds like something from the "three little bears!!! lol!!)
