I know where all the progeny of my mare Cacharel are, apart from Jazz Nights of Malta, he was foaled in 1993 by Prince Sadik out of Cacherel ( Faberge x Farahs Fantasy). He was grey and I assume was gelded. Cacharel was in Essex at the time he was foaled, any information would be much appreciated.

| Why not try contacting Caroline Sussex @ Binley Stud I think she is pretty good at keeping an eye where Sadiks offspring are. |

He was bred by a Mrs B Coombes and was at the time when Sadik was owned by Mrs Archer ( is this not Carolines Mum???)what about sending a letter to the AHS to pass onto whoever he is registered with...maybe you've done this all ready?

Hi Lyn, thanks for your message, I was hoping to jog someones memory before I tried the AHS route . As far as I know Mrs Archer did breed Prince Sadik but he must have been sold as a youngster as he was at Silvereign Stud (Mr & Mrs Thorogood, Harwich, Essex) according to my 1991 stud directory, this is probably where Cacharel was covered to produce Jazz,

| My mare was born in 1993 and I thought Caroline said Sadik would have been in Suffolk at the time of covering as it would have been just prior to her buying him. |

| I have the address of Mrs Coombes (from 1992) if this is any use to you. She bred one of my mares by Sadik. |

Hi Lyn, thanks I have Mrs Coombes address from that time as she also bred Cacharel. I rang the AHS yesterday and Jazz is definately still around so I'll write to the AHS and see if the owner responds. I had a quick look on your website, is Tegan the mare that Mrs Coombes bred ?
I see she has Milkhan of Pulpits breeding as does Cacharel, plus you have Aurelian offspring and we have an Istfahan daughter, must have similar tastes !
