Hi Paula,
congratulations for the magazine, but very sorry to see your very long Paris report has no picture of the most successful UK owned and trained horse in Paris....KARAT !!! He had one vote for World Champion Stallion and was fourth overall. He lives at home with his owners Andrew and Jackie Atkin and is prepared by them for the shows - a wonderful result that shows you can do-it-yourself and compete at the very highest level. a pic would have been nice ! best regards. Well done on the mag however, I must admit though that for the Paris report to state that my filly along with other British entrants looked like they would prefer a green field is a bit off..I watched her live stream and she was looking great and did a lovely trot for the judges! |

Well done for another superb magazine. You will never please 100% of people - no one can!
Emma, there is a photo of Karat together with you at Paris on page 163.
Joyce, write ups are very kindly done and sent in, so don't shoot the messenger.

You've done it again!!!
What a wonderful magazine - I especially LOVE all the photos of beautiful horses from shows and stud portraits. Great idea with the photo gallery from Paris!
The articles are also great, but then I would say that, wouldn't I
Looking forward to rereading it during the next couple of days - the first read was certainly a pleasure
Best wishes

Thanks Denise, yeah it was a stressy time and I am so proud of him, but all ready for the New Year now and have put it behind me. What a wondeful magazine and so fascinating and clever the way the pages scroll over. Well done and congratulations Paula and Sean. I was delighted to read the article on the Ridden Clinic in the North West by Kirsty Brown. She made a lovely couple of comments about HT Orient, so kind, you made my day Kirsty. Wish you could see him going now, he is not the same horse as he was at the Clinic. He has improved so much since his teeth and back have been seen to. My husband also video-d my lesson three weeks ago,....my leg position was awful and I know exactly what I had to do to help myself to help Orion. When I had my last lesson my instructress said we had improved 100%, so all you enthusiastic riders, get your hubbies to video you, its the best way of learning. All the very best to you all for the New Year! Kora xx |
