The first two are very well known Straight Egyptian sires in the USA; The Equaliser wss BNCh Junior Male. There is a SE filly for sale by him ex BB Crystali - Sienna Ali - on Arabianlines. Others out of this mare have done well in the UK show ring. |

Ruminaja Ali was the third of ten full siblings by Shaikh Al Badi(Morafic X Bint Maisa Al Saghira) out of Bint Magidaa (Khofo X Magidaa). Between them the siblings made Shaikh Al Badi's reputation as a sire and they were by far that stallions most successfull and significant offspring both in North America and internationally. The siblings were/are:-
Ruminaja Rabia Nazeem Ruminaja Ali Ruminaja Bahjat Ruminaja Majed Ruminaja Magidaa Ruminaja Fayez Alidaar Bint Bint Magidaa Akira Magidaa
Ali himself was US National Futurity Champion Colt in 1979, US & Canadian Top Ten Stallion in 1980 and US Reserve National Champion Stallion in (I think) 1983 the 3rd placed stallion that year was El Shaklan.
Incidently I believe that the Klines who owned Magidaa in the late 70's were offered a free breeding to Khofo so as to be able to repeat the mating that had produced her famous daughter....... they declined the offer.
BB Crystali's dam Imperial BtNegmaa was by Moniet El Nafis for whom Imperial paid $500,000 as a young colt from Bentwood Farms. He was a successfull sire of racehorses in the US. Imperial BtNegmaa's dam was a full sister of the stallion El Hilal who sired Imperial Al Kamar amongst others. Mike |

Mike, I saw Bint Magidda when I went to Gardner bloodstock in Waco texas about nine years ago now, she was a lovely old mare and I felt lucky to have seen her in the flesh out in the paddock, I think she must have gone to pastures new now as she was quite old then. I also saw the minstrel, and Thee desperado! |

Hi Lynda,
Lucky you! She would have been 25 or so when you saw her as she was foaled in 1970. Ruminaja Ali passed away in 1997.

Mike
I was interested to read your comment about the Klines being offered a free breeding to Khofo for Magidaa - I gather this was made by Serenity Farms?
