I wonder if anyone could guess who this is? His father was the famous sire of two US National champions, whilst his dam's full sister founded a dynasty for a well known judge, breeder and author Thinking caps on.....

I know its Forbis mike, wondered if it was the mare beginning with Ansata R.....rebecca rosetta of something like that.
Yes, arnt they alike.
I dont feel quite such a dope now, with the pictures being side by side.. It could be the same horse. |

You are on the right lines with Ansata Rosetta (dam of A. Halim Shah) but need to take into account where the photo I posted was taken

Is it Zahi (1970)? Sired by Ibn Hafiza (1959) also sire of National winners El Dayim and Gamal Al Arab. Out of Bint Bukra (1957 - by Nazeer out of Bukra) full sister to Ansata Bint Bukra owned by Mrs Forbis and was dam to 4 colts and 6 fillies. |
