ARABIAN RACING PRICE FREEZE AND NEW 'TICKET TO RIDE' SCHEME ANNOUNCED
A price freeze and new discounts on Registration Fees have been announced for the 2005 Arabian Racing season. Two new incentives, the 'Ticket to Ride' and the Owner-Trainer-Rider scheme have been revealed today.
The 'Ticket to Ride' scheme will allow newcomers to the sport the opportunity to try Arabian Racing without committing to the full cost of annual registrations. For one all-inclusive fee, newcomers will be able to compete in two races before deciding whether or not to continue in this sphere. It will also allow those currently competing in Endurance races, the opportunity to do both sports at a reduced cost.
A second new category, the Owner-Trainer-Rider, is designed to encourage the grass roots of the sport. This new all-inclusive fee will see a large discount of over 15% on last year's fees.
Charlie Corbett, Racing Director of the A.R.O. said
"It's great news for Arabian racing that we have been able to freeze last year's Registration prices and the two new registration schemes we have developed will make our sport even more accessible.
We are very keen to forge closer links with the world of Endurance, as many of today's best endurance horses start their education in Arabian racing. The 'Ticket to Ride' and O-T-R schemes will help create a real cross over of both participants and horses alike.
Roll on May when the racing begins!"
