Damn and blast them!!!!  
...but especially THIS ONE!!!!
It's finally rebelled!!
It had a slight mutiny a couple of years ago and I had to get it's hard drive "seen to"!!!!
Well, it needs a good "seeing to" again!!!!
Life has come to a STOP in this house...John needs Word for business letters. I need Word for letters too and drafts of documents...and the girls need Word for all their dratted HOMEWORK.....and will this dear little program open for us....even if we ask it ever so nicely....NO IT WON'T !!!
GRRRRRR!!!!!
I've threatened it with the Computer "vet"...because that word "vet" normally gets ailing animals to recover instantly the minute you threaten to call one!
Sadly, computers don't seem to have quite the same understanding ...although SOME of them appear to have definite minds of their own!!!!
It's possible some of my anti "nastiness" programs to combat viruses, worms and the like ( see there IS a comparison to be made to visiting the vet!!)aren't up to scratch....
....so...
I just wanted to say that if I'm not around, it's because my PC is in the "clinic" for a check!!
OK, calm down....you can save the cheering 'til I've gone!!!! 
....but I'll be BACK!!!
Oh come on. guys, I ain't THAT bad?!?!?!

Close down all applications on your PC then check the temporary directory on your PC, make sure it hasn't loads of files in it, if it does remove the files..don't remove the directory as the PC needs this..once you've done this reboot the PC and try word again. Your temp directory will be located within my computer under c:\temp.
This may help..fingers crossed. |

Nicci, I know exactly how you feel, my computer keeps telling me we have a virus, which we don't, we have checked. My husband is going to re-boot the computer this pm. Joyce, your're a bit of a whizz with computers then, I admire you. Thanks for the info.
