Hi there
My boss has a PBA who is registered but she knows nothing about his parents. I have tried the All Breed Pedigree website but Solva Saintly is not there!
He is also related to Trelech Courvosier (spelling could and probably is different!)
Does anybody know anything about these two horses??

I've not been able to get on line today until now. I am almost 100% certain that Solva Saintly did the Cherif a few years ago. Give me a while, and I'll get back to you. |

A friend of mine had a horse called Solva Cocktail when we were in school together(ages ago now!)I believe her mare had some Arab in her and she was coloured. The stallion Trelech Courvoisier used to be down here in Pembrokeshire, the lady who had him was Sarah Jewson, he was at her stud in St Florence, though I don't know if she bred him? I cannot remember the name of the stud now. But I am going back about 10 or more years. |

Think the Jewsons are the Copybush stud, and Solva is in Pembrokeshire so your GG probably originates from around here somewhere, i'll see what i can find out for you. |

OK, not much to go on but Trellech Courvoisiers a well known sire of show ponies, his son Copybush Catchphrase won the HOYS Breeders challenge in '94. This might be of some interest though? One of Trellech Courvoisier's offspring, HOLLYLAND HEAVEN CAN WAIT out of Solva Cherie by Sollum, was shown only once as a yearling. Owned and shown by Paul and Sheila Harvey he was the only coloured present at the Arab Horse Society's Norfolk and Suffolk Young stock Show where he won his class and the overall championship. Maybe a contact that could help you?! Theres a horse called Solva Cherie on the ABPD by a stallion called SOllum, is that any relation to your girl? If you check the progeny report, it looks like she bred a few for the Hollyland stud which also had connections with the COpybush stud.

Copybush Saint Errant qualified and was placed at the 2000 Cherif Championship. He was then owned By Miss S. Whitfield, Haverfordwest.
Choir Boy was owned by Mr D. Ryde Rogers.
Hope this helps.
