Does any one have any offspring by Red House Faroah (Mustaphah X Karomea) or Red House Jewel (Kasadi X Zilatis Jewel).
Thanks
Evelyn

Dear Evelyn
We'dont have offspring of either of those stallions but we do have a close relative: Red House Zia (Arakos - Zilati's Jewel) Arakos is by Kasadi, Zilati's Jewel is Orion-Zilati (Silver Vanity - Ziree El Wada). We think the Ziree el Wada tail female is a very important line in Endurance horses - most of ours trace back through Zellah, one of her daughters. Zia is a tough, competitive chestnut with exceptionally good heart rates - but can be a red head at times! If you need any more info, please just ask.
Cheers
Jan

Hi Jan
We have two, Red House Oberon and Red House Islay, Red House Oberon is sire - Red House Faroah (Mustaphah X Karomea)dam - Red House Jewel (Kasadi X Zilatis Jewel) so they are closely related on the Dams side. He is only 4 bought so will be dowing a showing/dressage/Riding club for a couple of years, but he was bought for endurance.
We also have his half sister - Red House Islay (Red House Faroah/Redhouse Iona by Mareschal out of Red House Ziona (Zilati's Jewel Daughter), she is in foal to Dhruv, hoping for another endurance horse when that pops out.
Yes I am very found of the Z line, they seem to be very tough with good heart rates, my other mare Zolar, (hoping to go advance this year), is a Galeon daughter, her dam line is (Zarkai, Zarozza, Zahri, Ziree el Wada.
What are you planning to do with Red House Zia this year?
Evelyn

Dear Evelyn
It sounds as though you have some very covetable horses!! Zia is 16 now but we've only had her for a few years. Our "plan" this season is to take her to Golden Horseshoe for the 120km class, and really see how that goes. She did the first 80km last year at over 12kph but was lame at the final vetting on the first day. Our long term aim is the Red Dragon but there are a lot of bridges to cross first. With 6 horses on the go we are going to be busy one way and another. If you ever decide to venture this far South (Wilts/ Somerset border) we can sort you out for stabling and beds.

There is another thread on the "New horses" part of the forum asking about Gaatou Fadl and that is referring to some of the Z line mares too: Zarki, Zarkela, et al
