I have a vague memory of Ballarina as a foal as I was working at UMM Qarn in 1997. The foals weren't normally known by their registered names as the sheik took ages to name them. We has nick names for them all, but is was so long ago! I just remember the ones that stood out like Swampy (Kouvey bey 1997) Rudolph (Sambist 1996).
If you use the link to the stud web page, and get on the contact us page, the stud will be able to give you any info you need.

Hi - did you have any joy tracing her ? I had Barmensha for a few years here and bought her when she had Ballarina at foot. She was shown as a yearling and then sold to a guy in South Wales who just had her as a pleasure horse I think. Could find out more if you wanted to know. |

I remember her now.. I think I may have some pictures of her when she was a few weeks old, I'll have a look for you.
She was a little madam, and would tow us out to the paddock!

Alex,
I can't find my pictures anywhere - must have thrown them away when I was having a tidy moment.
She was shown at wales and west as a yearling - I saw a picture in either H&H or Arab News - nice trot picture.

Sorry Alex hadn't checked this item for ages. Did Sue find the photos for you ?? I could ask the Gamlins if they still have any of the proofs taken at W & W ???? She lived here for a while as a baby when I bought her mum but I never had photos of her or anything. she was a sweet thing very easy to handle. Barmensha is still down in Devon I think I have one daughter still Ffaberge who has great babies for me and Fferrari lives here too but his owner is looking to sell him due to lack of time I'll be sorry to see him go he really is the perfect horse ! |

Hi Delyth, Don't worry about not replying i havn't looked in this part in ages, either! Sadly Sue couldn't find the photos of Ballerina, which is a shame. I was just curious really what she looked like as a foal! Although, I don't know whether Marilyn found the photos of her? Is FFerrari pure arabian and what has he done with his owner? Sorry, but i'm interested now! |

Fferrari was broken last year and has the perfect temperament to go on and do anything. He's presently with Wayne for some schooling because his owner hasn't got anytime. If anyone is looking for their perfect friend for life then he is for you ! And he's 15.21/2hh with no boots on won many times inhand, wants to live in your house, infact is anyone good enough for him
