Ive just bought a 4yr old gelding, Northash Pharaoh,hes by Atmosferic & out of Northash Caroline. Id really like to know a bit more about his breeding, but i cant seem to find anything at all about either parents. Also would anyone be able to tell me what "type" he is, ive already 2 crabbet/english geldings, but would love to knoe what Pharaoh is.

| Yes, he was bred in Wales, by a Mr Michael Davies....if that helps?? |

Northash Caroline is a bay by Al Hakkim out of Princess Kara (Pharoh X September Shade). I sold Princess Kara (also bay) to Mike Davies early in 1992 and she had a filly that year which was unfortunately lost. I do have Mike Davies phone number if you drop me an email.

Hi, thanks Mike, but ive actually managed to speak to Michael since posting this, he sold Pharaoh as a yearling to another chap not far from him. He was shown in-hand, & did reasonably well with him, he then had him gelded at 3 & sold him about 3 months ago to the girl i bought him from, though she'd told me shed owned him a year!! Some people ay!! Hes quite poor at the mo , & really lacking that spark, if you know what i mean! Though give him a few weeks of good grub,& im sure he'll be be a diffrent chap! |
