Thanks celia, you are right about the name it is sky crusader...
Do you know anything about this horse???
I've been offerd a anglo arab mare by him and would like to know his breding.....

Sky Crusader was exported to France as a 7 year old. He sired a big amount of purebreds (over 170 offspring).
He has build a name as provider of quality endurance offspring. I have a picture if you like.. just send me an e-mail |

| He was very Handsome Died in early 90's ........ My friend had a Gelding by him was PTS last year after putting his foot down a rabbit hole out hunting but was a good 22 and liked it in the hard and fast lane !! no really he was one of the fastest horses i ever have seen , He too was called Sky , very tall boy too , just a flick under 16 hh |

I'd like to know a bit more about Sky Crusader. Also his dam Sapphire Sky. My young horse, Sky King, is a grandson of Sky Crusader's half brother Sky Knight, and also a great grandson of Sky Crusader through the mare Hosanna Sky. I'm in Canada, and I don't know much about these lines at all (I'm new to Arabians anyway, so I guess I don't know much about ANY lines!). I'm planning to use him in endurance, so I was happy to see that this might be good breeding for the sport.
I'd also love to see a photo of Sky Crusader if anyone has it.

All the sky Crusader children and related family were very fast on the race track that i do remember! they included Sky Caravel, Sky Challenger,Sky Charioteer, Sky Galaxy, Sky herald ,Sky Kestrel,Sky Ranger,Sky Rock, and Sky Scilla.Marvellous eh? |

Yes very very Sad my Mare was Stabled beside Sky for several years and they had a lovely friendship ....John is a very dear and close friend and i know he wont ever get over the loss of his dear friend Sky .
