I hate them!!!! What purpose do they serve - none whatso ever. Only to disturb sleep cos you can hear them battering themselves against the walls and if, like me, you can't sleep knowing one might fly in your face, you just have to get up and either let it out or batter it to a swift and painless death.
HATE 'EM!

I was only thinking about them yesterday! I was wondering if the female ones are called Mummy-Daddy long legs! Even though I have severe arachnaphobia I can pick DLL's up and put them out!! |

I don't mind them and spend most of my waking hours trying to save them from Beatle Cat! He's loving DLLs and Dragon Flies at the moment, it's a wonder we have any left! |

It always makes me smile when the free-range chickens go running across the grass to catch them - chickens are surprisingly fast when there's food as an incentive!

they lay the larve in your lawn and they eat the roots, can cause major damage, when they hatch the only purpose they have is to breed then die, they don't eat, But my cats do eat them , |
