Posted on behalf of her owner......meet Scarlet 2-days old Part Bred Arab Filly Foal 
Her Dam is former HOYS 15hh Champion Ridden Show Hunter Pony, Monivae Christmas Carol (Breeding unknown) who has been a prolific Major Show Winner including Working Hunter
Introducing her filly, sired by Sunray Saristocrat AASB (BNC Somerset Morn AASB ex BNC Karitzi AASB)
She arrived unexpectedly...two weeks early and surprised her owners, when doing the morning feeds. Mum Cassie, was still rugged up and foalie was out of view and not seen until her owner stepped into stable with feed bucket...what a shock they had, seeing the foal curled up quite happily in the deep straw. Her stable name has been chosen, due to the circumstances.....`Scarlet`, which was the colour of Cassie`s stable rug. Owner says, when they took off Cassie`s rug and placed it over the stable door, the filly followed and was nuzzling the rug!! Bless, she had bonded with the rug, however quickly realised her Mum had just changed colour....and where the milk bar had been moved too!!
Scarlet certainly has some very long legs, so may well prove much bigger than Cassie......Large Show Riding Horse/Cherif, maybe ???

What a fab story and what a surprise for the owners and new arrival - you sometimes wonder what babies/foals make of their new world, and mum changing colour must be quite a puzzle!
