Hiya All,
Well i've been a lucky girl, and got to visit LMA Arabians on the 22nd may.
I've been wanting to go to this stud for a long time, and Linda it was well worth the drive
So i got to meet all the beautiful, stunning mares and their filly foals by Qamar.
All Linda's mares are full of quaility, have fab temps, loads of type and awesome movers, esp assah!wow what a mare she is, and her filly, has to be the most beautiful filly i've ever seen!!Her colt sulyman by Cellem(rusleem), is equally stunning!
Maya, looked fantastic for her age, was rather shocked when linda said she's 23! She just looks fab, and her filly araya, wow, a cheeky girl tooA very correct filly, witha super head too.
Then theres the lovely crabbet mare Sunny, and her gorjus filly, who although shy, did come and give me a kiss, this filly Silkie is just super, she has a fab front on her, and very pretty, still not sure if she may stay bay?
Last with the foal at foot was the stunning mare halima, and her top class filly arima. wow what a filly she is, going to be tall too, by the looks of it!
All were stunning, and it was great to see all these fillies by qamar, who are so alike, yet each have their own special qualities. It is very hard to pick a favourite out of them, so i can't, and i could of bundled the whole lot into the car and tacken them home!
Hafizah was still waiting for her foal to arrive, can't wait to see pics when she/he arrives!
Then i got to see the lovely, stunning bay filly Judals Layla, she too looks she'll be a tall girl when she's finished growing. And i got to see her gorjus orange friend, who is owned by becky on here, by physce image r?(sorry if i got it wrong becky)
At last we come to the stallions. Cellem, by rusleem out of maya, what a boy he is, he has a fab temp and loves Linda very much you can definately see what parts of maya he has tacken and what parts of rusleem, he has the most stuning yearling colt called Sulyman, out of assah, i was sad i didn't have enough time to visit his filly called hannah, but i think she is for sale on here and someone will be very lucky to have filly like her as your friend!
I also got to meet Shamrillo(is that right linda?) lots of el shaklan blood in him, he looked like a lovely boy with a charming temp.
Last of all is Qamar El Dine, who i have wanted to meet for such a long time He did not dissapoint! He really is super, i just love him even more now! I love what he sires, such beatuful foals, his first foal i ever met was michelles Ruwi, who is the most loveliest boy!
And i got to ride him too i thought i was gonna pee my pants i was so excited!! Bless him, must add it was peeing down with rain, and windy too, and it was a bit bogging, but he felt fantastic, feels like your on a 16.2hh, incredible length of rein, nice and light in your hand, responsive and i felt very safe on him. In fact i just did not want to get off! Just felt like riding air, just beautiful.
It's the best birthday pressie i have ever had!
So i just want to say a massive thankyou Linda, i still can't believe i have ridden Qamar El Dine! I feel very honoured, thankyou so much for letting me ride him!
and here a pic
Thanks, nikkixx

Lucky You Nikki! I've heard so many great things about the horses at LMA Arabians.Qamar El Dine has quite a following! I've heard what a great temperament he has and how he always passes that on. I wish I lived nearer, maybe one day... when I visit Michelle.... Shame about the weather but I bet Linda is more than pleased you have a strong bladder!!!! |

I visited LMA ARABIANS last year on my way home from malvern and I have to say that Linda impressed because she obviously really loves her horses and really cares what kind of homes they go to. She also impressed me as a breeder and keeper of horses. I loved her stallion Qamar in particular and thought the future of the stud looked very bright indeed! Good luck to you for the future !! I would recommend a visit there. I am tempted to go again to see this years foals and I am not exactly "local" !! |

Hi Nikki,
I'm so glad you got to visit Linda and Paula and their fab horses, its worth the drive isnt it! I completely agree with the way you describe riding Qamar, just awsome! As you said its just so obvious how much Linda and her Mum love the horses and they love them back. As much as i love looking at Qamar its his temperament that i was most impressed with and if he passes that on to his foals then they will be much loved by anyone who buys them and hopefully a horse for life. I cant tell you how happy i am with Ruwi, he is everything to me. He shows me love and affection everyday like no other horse ive met. Oh and incredibly intelligent!!! Michelle
PS Debbie, you know your welcome anytime and i really hope we get to finally meet in September! |
