Hi, Can anyone tell me is there a rule on what kind of bridle you turn your Crabbet out in, i cant find anything that says it should be an English bridle. I show my lad in a bridle that i thought was suitable, but was advised today(by the judge) that it should be plain.......
It looks as though you did well anyway (I'm envious of the sash)! I only ever show in leather (flat or rolled, depending on which looks best) as I'm very traditional.

Hi, that pic was taken at a different show, its the only clear one i have of the halter. Just wondered if its true that there is an actual rule on bridles
I enter my Crabbett every year and the judge told me that they are trying to get them shown in the traditional in hand bridle and not the fancy halters. They do not like the use of sticks or posing!
