woohoo - Gail and Gilfae have finished the 2day 160km on Silver - not bad for an oldie eh? And Vicky and Zamin a silver in the 80km Exmoor Exp
Congrats to all - and well done Spangle - am I right in thinking you had something to prove after a near miss last year? And will 'Spangle' the horse be aimed at endurance once ridden? |

How lucky were we with the weather??, OK the wind was cold but bright and sunny so perfect for the horses. I was crewing Harry and Sealy who did the Exmoor exp and LOVED it (and got gold, there was a few errors on the web site results !). I was waiting to crew at the finish and can tell you it was a joy to see so many beautiful Arabs, ears foward tails up still full of going after so many miles, cantering over the line... LOVELY,LOVELY horses we are all so lucky to have them in our lives. Well done everyone. Well done Lorna too, we were the ones sitting by you in the Prize giving, have you found a shelf big enough yet??? PS took my youngster Bryn round Pen Ddol y Gader pleasure ride yesterday while Harry and Sealy did the 40km. Rode the last 10km with First Lady on the fabulous Jaz( doing the 40). It was a great ride although very wet and there was a lot trotting and cantering through hock deep water Debbie and I had a laugh repeatedly reminding each other that Arabs 'won't go through water' ! Cheers, Lisa |

Lisa Thats a lovely description of Golden Horseshoe and a huge Well Done to Sealy and Harry on their fab Gold award you must be very proud of them both Lol re arabs and water on Sunday it was a pleasure to have you and Bryn's company and catch up on old times young Jaz seemed to enjoy himself a little too much ( and took a dislike to the Vet in the crinkly green outfit !!!) but yes they were both brilliant and it was lovely being 12 again !!!! |
