At 2.45am this morning Amy (Elmdale Enchantress) foaled a lovely bay colt by Sunray Saristocrat, i am thrilled!!! It looks like he could make a stunning small hack/showriding type. Amy is as usual the perfect mum. Here are some pictures of Amy foaling outside her stable on the grass under the moonlight (her choice ) the stable door was left open for her to choose!

Well done Amy....congratulations Verena...another quality Elmdale foal Look forward to seeing how he grows up. He is almost identically marked as our Saristocrat colt, except the white bracelet is on the opposite hind leg to our colt
Will call and see him in a few days.....let us know his name when you have decided...more wasted hours, hanging over gates, foal watching. Such timewasters, but very therapeutic...enjoy!!

Thanks everyone, i have been with him most of today and took more photo`s which i will post up shortly! he is even more special as sadly Amy lost her last colt aged just three weeks.Pat i am glad you like him, i know how much you loved Amy, she is a super mum and certainly producing stunning offspring! he is looking more and more hack type every time i see him, soon i will have a suitable name for him. Oh and by the way granny Tara is thrilled, she is mesmorised and stands watching in awe!
AND AFTER A TIRING MORNING ONE HAS TO REST!!!

Thanks babs, we have decided to call him elmdale eduardo, and eddie as his stable name, he certainly kept Amy on her toes when he was charging round today in the sun |

Hi Verena, Edward (Sunray Saristocrat) is pleased your Eddie is his namesake. He has two fillies and two colts so far and all seemed stamped with his likeness.
Your Eddie looks a super sort Well Done all
