Hi I'm new here so please forgive me if I'm being a bit dim! (I also don't know much specifically about arabs )
I have a rescued BSP who is very araby (I'll try and sort out some piccies sometime). I have had her for about 5 years now and we have done pretty much everything. We have been learning a lot together and having lots of fun, but we have been doing pretty well at local dressage for several years. However we don't seem to be able to get past the prelim level. Now there are many factors for this - time, effort, facilities, money etc! But I have also wondered about whether Arabs have an intrinsic difficulty in this area? I know they do very well at endurance, and she does this very well; does this point to being able to do well in dressage too, or show that this area might be asking more than she's really able to do, do you think? sorry I'm rambling now, hope you can get what I mean

Oh, b*m; that means it is me!
Thanks, though. I will look!
I often get all worried that I'm asking too much of her. I should know better by now! She'll let me let her be lazy at the drop of a hat, unfortunately. |

lol dont all of them - you are fine Im sure you will get there just make sure you keep everything varied and keep her interest as they can become lazy if you let them. There are lots of arab out there doing dressage so keep going... |
