I wasn't one of the lucky people to have attended this organsied training weekend but I would love to hear all about it off the people that did go - I assume you all may still be travelling?
Ive seen some pictures on facebook and It looked brilliant.
Hope there are plenty more pictures to share!
Thanks

Hi,
Sorry I haven't had chance to post until now.
It was an absolutely FANTASTIC day - thank you so much to everyone who organised it and put so much hard work into making it possible Yes there were some teething issues with making sure we had everyone present and correct, but hey, it was perfectly understandable under the circumstances.
The horses were incredible - I think everyone thought we were joking when we said we could sneak a few onto the coach with us - and the training centre itself is truly beautiful and so well kept (where were all the poos???!) Thank you so much Cathy and Tom for putting on a delicious lunch too, we all appreciated it so much after our early start.
The ONLY disappointment were that more people did not attend, and to which I still cannot understand now.
Anyway, I've taken hundreds (I'm not joking!) of photos and will post some later - they are also on my Facebook to those who are my friends
Thank you again.

Oh forgot to add, a huge thank you from my Mum who came with me (all the way from Wales - leaving at 3pm on Friday afternoon to get there in time!!)
It was her second 'open day' and to say she was bowled over by the horses, facilities and care and attention given to the horses is an understatement.
Thank you from her too.
PS She has also asked me when the next one is? |

Hi everyone, the trip was a great and the weather was good although a little cold as Belgium is so FLAT. We all had a good day and the horses were FAB, i would have taken all them home. Our coach driver was great he was into photography so he took loads of pics on a really expensive camera. He did promise to send them to me so i can post them on AL. I can not believe that we did not get more people attending, but we all had a good time. Thanks to Cathy and Tom [Glen was in Las Vegas] you did us proud lots to eat and drink and a nice show of the horses, although some were a little more difficult to catch! I would highly recomend that other Regions arrange a Stud Visit well worth the trip....... I can not wait for the next one. |
