Cant wait to see the Gene Genie again, but I dont think Ashes to Ashes is anyway near as good as Life On Mars, I dont think Alex Drake's character is as good as Sam Tyler's. As for DCI Gene Hunt - he can fire up his quattro and take me for a ride in it any day

no its not life on mars was awesome but the Gene Genie character makes it for me!!!! Ditto re the quattro!

The OH is a 1980s music nut and spent the whole time guessing the music to show off his extensive knowledge and then getting annoyed with me that I didn't know the links between bands or the position in the charts the song got to. Other than that, loved it.
