My day-to-day radio station here in the SE England would be Heart (London) predominantly for news and traffic, or Absolute (Ex- Virgin) in London. When I'm in Oxon, N Wilts, 2-ten fm. On the South coast Wave 105.2. But whenever I get a chance, def 106.8 Country Mix... Dublin! Why can't we have a station like that over here? What's your fav?

Radio 2 if I want background company but in the mornings it has to be Galaxy (used to be Power FM), I find Zoe and Gillies hilarious! |

Invicta (Kent's local) if I'm driving somewhere for the traffic news. Otherwise Radio 2 or Classic FM, depending on my mood! |

We have to put up with invicta at work. The others want it on for background noise, something other than listening to the machines. Personnally, I hate having any music on just for background noise, and hate the radio in particular. The first thing I do when I get to the farm is turn the radio down really low, only thing is I normally forget to turn it back up when I leave. I will sometimes (about half a dozen times a year) put a cd on at the farm, but its normally Meat Loaf or something loud like that. We don't have music in the car either, unless on really long journeys, and then it's cds, or mp3 player, not the radio. The radio in my car doesn't work, and hasn't ever since I brought it, but thats just fine with me.

Am I the only Radio 1 listener on AL? Ok I can't stand some of the DJ's, but I hate local radio My OH always has Wave or Galaxy on in the car, he says it's for the traffic reports, I think it's just because he's old! |

Radio 4. Very often it is the only opportunity I have during the day to catch up on news and current affairs. In my previous life (before I became a midwife) I used to drive home from work around 18.30hr and used to love the Radio 4 comedy shows - but my shifts mean I don't drive at that time nowadays (so I'm also completely out of touch with The Archers now).

I used to listen to Radio 4 more-or-less all day when I worked from home. Now listen to R4 Sunday mornings (only chance I get). Do miss it though. And Humphrey Littleton, RIP. |

Heart Fm on the yard. Especially enjoy 'heart breakers' between 10-12pm, listen to that when doing last stables.
Radio 2 in the car, or classic Fm |

Well as my job involes quite a lot of driving from yard to yard I have got a well worked out radio schedule, Radio 2 for Sarah Kennedy and Terry Wogan, then over to Radio 4 as I don't like Ken Bruce on R2. Always listen to Womens Hour on R4 and have been known to sit in peoples stable yard waiting for the end of it Then at 12 (after the story on R4) I switch to the lunchtime comedy hour AKA Radio Cornwall's phone in show. It's hilarllious with lots of 'real Cornish' on there that will not get off the phone, I love it! Then back to R2 for Steve Wright at 2 and Chris Evans from 5. Sometimes listen to Jeremy Vine if radio Cornwall is a bit slow.
Who said that I was stuck in my ways???? BTW i'm 26 |

I can't stand the sound of Sarah Kennedy, so the radio goes off if I'm in the old car until her show has finished!
We have Radio 4 on first thing in the morning to wake up to, I tried Radio 2 but it drove me mad at 6am. |
