The man from Sky came to the house I am lodging at yesterday to install another box so I can have Sky TV in my living room (have a separate one to my landlords). Unfortunately I wasn't here when he came so my landlords got the box set up to the little tv in the room instead of my widescreen tv. I have been trying to change it over and (silly me) thought it would be as simple as unplugging the scart lead from the small tv and plugging it into my TV. So i did that and I am getting sound, but no picture.
Are there any clever people out there who can tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it???
You've got the right idea with the start lead, it really should be that simple.
My advice would be to double check both ends of the scart are secure, its possible that in moving things it has come loose from the back of the sky box. If that doesn't solve it try plugging the lead back into the little tv to make sure the lead isn't faulty. Also you could try a different lead altogether and see what result you get.

check you are running it through the right tv channel you should be using the av l [audio video channel] the same one you would use if watching a dvd [please do not tell me you have a built in one]
or being as you have sound and not vision you might also need to re tune a tadge
I have given up for now and re-plugged the scart lead into the small TV as I don't want to miss the football tonight, although I would rather have watched it on my widescreen!!
