Its not fair! Me and dorter can't ride together because usually one of us has to mind the kids! I really fancied a ride in the park but she gets all the fun! She went hacking and I stayed home being a really good Grandma!!!!Her argument was that she needed to know what was going on with my horse as he is really norty at the moment! So while she was hacking i was changing nappies! What have you lot being doing today?

I've been suffering from the female equivalent of man-flu,so I do actually feel as rough as a scrapper's Alsation! But I looked after my friends horses this morning; gorgeous Andalucian stallion, beautiful grey arab mare and 2 hispano babies. Really struggled to get out of my crypt this morning but managed Instantly felt better out with the horses! Then went egg dropping, crafty wine with sister, then OH's daughter in law and kids, back to friends to give extra hay and skip out, then my lot who enjoyed a rugless day today! I'm having a glass of wine now as adopting the kill or cure attitude as I've been up coughing all hours all week! |

Absolutely nothing, apart from coming on here every five minutes to see what's going on, but it seems the rest of you have been busy today, cos it's been very quiet and I'm bored, bored, BORED! Oh, and I did have a short chat with Vera this afternoon, the only sensible talk I've had today. OH has been busy all day and never listens to a word I say anyway and I don't think chatting to the dogs really counts as a conversation ETA It's been wet and miserable here too. |

Oh yes ive been a happy hacker today Claire and i had a lovely hack and a good catch up on all the gossip at the same time. The horses were good too and the rain held off. Bliss
Sammy was too strong for mum today will take a few more sessions to take the sting of spring out of his tail! Mum prefers to be a walker whilst Sam was quite excited at the prospect of a gallop today! I'll be walking like John Wayne tomorrow my thigh muscles definately had a work out sitting those bucks |

No hacking for me neither today :( Weather not been great tho' so didn't feel as though I'd missed out. Busy cleaning holiday cottages, & tomorrow is even busier, but I did pop on here at lunchtime

I was going to ride but woke up in the night itching all over. I have reacted to Amoxicillin and felt ill all day. Swollen hands, feet, spots in my eyes, ears and even feet. If it had affected my throat... So like you I feel I have been done out of a days' therapy. |

Rode out this morning - had a VERY lively hack!! Then spent a couple of hours in the garden, before heading back to the farm with the dogs to sort the ned out and give the dogs a run. Then down to the local for a couple of quiet drinks.
Lovely, relaxing day! |

Well I couldn't turn down the offer of a happy hack from Dinkidoo (the person not her pony...he struggles with the mobile - small buttons clumsy hooves!) So Carol & I had a good natter, gossip, put the world to rights (and a few people too!) A flippin good gallop to blow the cobwebs away (followed by a short wait for Sammy after his initial shock at a request for extra speed!) You really can't beat an arab for a bit of an adreneline rush Then off to tend to The Wee Ginger One. I spent an hour defuzzing the little bugger knowing that tomorrow she'll be just as hairy (I swear it grows back!) Back home...eat chocolate/order curry/drink lager..thats my good Friday done! |

Hacked off, racked off and peed off! 10th day of hideous asthma attack; feel vile from steroids, antibiotics and inhalers; missing Easter Bonnets drive on Sunday. But at least I haven't had to change any nappies! |

Wow Cinnypony - that was very exact LOL! I 'think' we did about 18 miles yesterday (about 28km!). Hacked to nearby yard for our regulat lesson today. Pony is starting to become softer - shame about the rubbish rider! |

Good Friday I did nuffin due to horrible weather; today I had a little ride but the 'orrible 'orse decided to start bucking for no good reason so that spoiled that (we'll try again tomorrow!); then spent most of day helping Himself clear a blockage in our main drain - you wouldn't believe how far the drainage rods had to go before they encountered the blockage - but we did clear it! Well, for now anyway. It's a seriously yeuucchhh job (just nice for a sunny, warm day...) and I think Drain People certainly earn their pay.
