Well Me and Murph went to the Winter League Dressage champs at cricklands last weekend. We left my mum at home and went with friends.
Got there on thur and had a lovely hack around the xc course.
On friday it was an early start as we had P10 at 9.07 I was VERY nervous but it was lovely and quiet at that time of the morning. We did a lovely test but I let him come onto the fore hand sand he popped onto the wrong leg. So we ended up on 65.91 and in 11th place. just out of the prizes
Sat was prelim 12 at 12.30 . Took my time getting him ready and was quite calm by the time it was our turn. Today was day one of the championship (sat and sun scores combined for the champs) so the palm trees and music was out in force. Murph being murph did a lovely test. and we had 65.6% and came 7th and wan £4
Sunday was prelim 10 at 11.30 and i thought what the hell lets go for it. OMG he was fab, it felt perfect. Ive never ridden such a test before he was there the whole time. After we saluted and i was leaving the arena i had tears in my eyes Because it was the last day the results did go up untill the championship medals had been presented so it was a long wait lol So me and josh went up to the pavillion and David Broome was handing out the medals, they came to my class and I wan the Bronze My mum cried when I rang her lol When we went for the results of the days class I had wan the P10 with 72.7 and £10
Its been a dream of a weekend with my best friend in the world Murph. I still cant belive how well we did
VERY BIG CONGRATS, Well done Sarah, hope i come away with as many rosettes as you at the jumping. Love the pictures, they have an excellent turnout there and you got Bronze! Bet your still buzzing x
