This may not mean much to some of you, but I'm so chuffed! I just had to share. I've been playing with the boys the past few days getting ready for my assessment, the good weather was a god send! My friend lent me her pedestal so we could play as Flame has never been on one before! Just look at Flame and how relaxed he looks! I adore this horse, he is everything I could wish for and more.

lovely pics!!! Love it when stuff like this happens - he even looks like my boy - fab taste you have!!!
My flighty gelding would often show me up at WES clinics with his overreactive ways. Thankfully instructor could see we were well in tune with one another so when everyone else expected us to be sent into a corner for trail practice instructor said 'we'll just leave laura and rossie to this one...' They all turn they're backs and 3mins later the gentle sound of me and Aros tipping back and forth on the rocking bridge is sounding around the arena
Best of luck for 'test day' - keep us posted |

He seems to be enjoying the view in the first pic - he can see as far as a big horse!
Great pictures.
Good Luck x

Thanks again.... Not sure what level I'm doing yet. I'm trying to do as much as I can before May and submit what I can.I'm not sure if I've posted a picture of Flame looking so woolly before!!? He's out 24/7 at the moment so he needs it...beard and all
All I can say is these 'games' have improved his confidence in me no end. I even found him more responsive when riding, much lighter in the front for example.I think that mainly came from the canter lead changes and patterns. The best thing is Magic watches and copies!!!! He is a very quick learner and loves playing! Including dragging my tarpaulin away if he can! He loves the ball and I can bounce it quite hard on him and he loves it, even in zone 5! I think because it's done rhythmically it's like a massage |
