I am trying to find an arab mare i owned many years ago she would be 25yrs old now she was grey about 14.1hh was breed by Miss Hillery Chapman in Hockley Essex she was by Muzzero out of lorrenet if anyone has any info good or bad i would love to know

yes! Me and Kharidian on here keep our horses at Pulpits! Kharidian (caryn) would be the one too ask as she will probably know the mare as sadly Hilary is no longer with us, we dont have any here fitting her description,when did you own her/sell her? Did she stay here e.t.c... I will point Caryn to this post  |

I remember the name Zeeronet and remember both Muzeero and Loranet very well. I had a lot to do with Muzeero as a youngster and also backed him lightly - he was gelded at about 8 years old as he was a worrier & fence walker as he couldn't bear to be "number two stallion" to Khan (Mikhan of Pulpits); Muzeero still lives locally and is quite elderly now. Loranet was a beautiful, typically English little liver-chestnut mare who produced some cracking foals. That's the good news.....unfortunately I can't remember who Zeeronet was sold to but I think I would have heard if she ever came back to this neck of the woods so sorry, Kallie, but I can't help.

| Hi I purchased loranet's foal two months before she was born, She was a lovely little filly, Muzeero was gelded that same year, Hilary let me name the foal myself,I sold her at 2yrs old as she was not going to be big enough for me as she only made about 14hh, I sold her to some people in Basildon but herd a couple of years later that they had gone bankrupt and had sold all there horses zerro included, I tried to find out at the time where she went with no luck, I do know she has never had a foal. It would be lovely to know where she is or if she is still with us as i have loads of pictures of her as a baby |

| It amy be worth asking cinders if she has the number for 'hilary' that runs the clottergate show as hocon sponsored a class last year. If anyone is likeley to know it will be hilary. |

If the "Hilary" you mention is Hilary Chapman who bred Zeeronet then sadly you're out of luck as she died in September 2007 after a very short illness - it was the biggest funeral and wake I've ever attended.
Her sister and brother-in-law continue to run Pulpits as a livery yard and will not have any knowledge of Zeeronet as they've never been into the Arabs.

| Hi Kallie, can't help with tracing your mare I'm afraid, but just to let you know that I owned Horus (Rossi - liver chestnut in my sigpics) who was by Muzeero (who I think is still alive, he would be about 29 now?), out of Phareller. Sadly I lost Rossi last year (he was 25), I miss him so much ... |

| Kallie, just had another thought - Nikki (Grumpymare) also has a mare out of Muzeero (Astra) - she may be able to help. She is in touch with the people who have Muzeero now, they may have some knowledge? |

| Not the same hilary i spoke to her in may, but trust me she may be old but she has known all things arab in the county for the past 40 years odd i just don't know where i put her number after the last house move. |
