Today is Blue Aquarius's 31st birthday - and I am sure if she carries on like this that she will outlive me!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has taken on a new lease of life since she had my neighbours miniature shetlands to 'mother' and the two foals I had last year!!! She is rugged to the eyeballs at the moment but I will post some pictures when the weather warms up.
These photos were taken last summer!

Blue looks amazing Pat.............obviously due to years of TLC
How long have you owned her??
Our old girl, now 26 years young and still looking great, will hopefully, also still be around for many more years, dare I wish.
Have promised her we will take her back on a sentimental journey to the AHS Nationals when she is thirty. as she so enjoyed her first outing (for fifteen years} off the stud, when she made an appearance at Malvern last year. Quite the prima donna she was...thoroughly enjoyed her day out

Babs,
I have owned her since she was 14 - she was my 40th birthday present from my ex! - the only good thing he did (oh...apart from giving me three fabulous kids!!!) She was my riding horse and started me down the road of 'arabitis'!!!!!! She also bred me three or four foals (all fillies, of course!!) before she was retired - but she adores babies and was very sad without them!!
Just realised that any of you out there good with figures can work out how old I am now!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, never mind!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to Aquarius. Wow Pat she looks great, a real credit to you.
She has hardly changed at all even from days of staying down here with Auntie Sue in Devon. She loved to be covered but was often a sod to catch once she conceived!! Boy could she move too.
Lovely to see her doing so well at such a great age. |

She can still move!!!!!! - they were all in for two weeks when we had the snow as the yard was like a skating rink. As you know, Aquarius doesn't like being stabled and usually has the run of the yard but I had to shut her in for her own sake. You should have seen her go off across the field when I let them out!!!
I bought her one of those mini Horslyx tubs as a pressie and wasn't sure whether she would like it as the salt lick in her stable is untouched but as I walked across to feed them this morning a 'brown' muzzle looked at me over her stable door!!!!!!!!! Actually I could have eaten it myself - its one of those respiratory licks with aniseed and it smells gorgeous!!
Sue, got your email about the halter - will reply tonight as I should be getting ready for work now!!!!!
