One of my ankles is really hurting so I am thinking of buying some paddock boots with a good ankle support, also have really high insteps, can anyone recommend a good comfortable make? would like ones I can ride in as well Am I asking for too much I have worn the heels completely away on my hunters
Mountain Horse boots are really comfy - I have high insteps and wide across balls of feet but I can work all day every day in my MH boots. Love the padded ankle parts too

Hi, I like the Mountain Horse long boots too, great for support and for riding in. If you want shorter boots then the Aria all terrain endurance boots are great, they are like a lace up hiking boot, they dont' really go round your ankle but because they are so sturdy with great grip they are excellent for trooping up and down in but of course you cant go knee high in mud or snow in them !
