Some love it, some hate it but here are a few pics from snowy Vlacq stud
Shah Shadow soaking up the sun
Trinny barely made it out of her stable before buckling to roll
Prince loves the snow as he loves to roll at the best of times
(if you are my pal on FB there's a whole run of his rolling pics!)
Kaz isn't keen - he'd rather be snuggled up in his box

Lovely Wintry scene............horses just love to roll in the snow Trinny, bless, cant wait to get to the paddock, got to do it now!!!
Sunrays weanlings (now yearlings) have been having a hoot of a time these last few days, and instead of mud...they come in with nice clean legs and hooves.
Our old boy...well he likes his nice warm box...even with the door open onto his paddock, he spends more time in his stable, just overseeing the `harem`...Roll on Spring, thinks he
Must get out my camera, have really enjoyed seeing all the snow pics

Why are they obsessed with rolling in the snow ? I turned mine out without rugs for a specific photo session and the first thing they ALL did was to roll madly. They seem to love it ! Great pics, thank you |

Lovely photos Laura. How funny that Kaz isn't so keen on the snow. It must be inherited as Tommy is just the same and would far rather be munching hay in his stable than going out in that awful cold white stuff - and as for rolling in it yuk......... |

Brilliant pics! Our Kaz lad would rather be out with his girls than in the stable too. |

Garnet's Kaz baby is a lothario - who would look after his harem if were away??? Angb's Kaz baby is a proper nosey so n so... it's his youthful energy... mind you, his big sister is loving the white stuff and has run off with 2 wooly hats this week |

Hi
Zinders in the snow this morning. Her first few hours out all week.
I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from riding!
I love the snow but roll on some nice warm and long evenings!
Keep warm everyone

A few more of the youngsters etc today...
Twinx being a fire breathing dragon and rushing to see me (as usual... I trust him to stop 99% of the time!!)
Tofiq Tof and I played a good game - I lob snowballs at him and he stomps on them like a proper stallion would
Across the front fields towards Llanfynydd
Mr Bumble chilling in his usual spot, tending his shaven foot - stitches and wound fine, stubble rash, nightmare!!
Sisi - Trinny's partner in crime

Lovely pics Laura, do you have any more of Shah?
Here's another one of his daughters out in the snow this week, she didn't think much of the snow-woman my friend and I were building:

Thanks Evie and Spangle - you know I love to hear the 'babes' are doing well No more recent pics of Shah, sorry - but he is very well and still head honcho around here....
Nat - Ke loves the snow - think she is part reindeer, always snuffling about in it!
Just a couple more snaps... Prince oggling Rubyn the young colt (mostly to check Rubyn's haynet wasn't bigger than his own)
And Valiant & Hooligan being Welsh Dragons blowing steam fron their noses (Valiant is on a par with Hooli now - whoever would have thought it)
(Excuse their very grubby rugs - these boys are real grubby urchins!) |
