We havent had post for a week, no horse and hound and the new BD magazine is out!
Poor horses have been going out, but we cant ride on the arena or get onto the lane.
We spent most of Sat shovling snow to make a track around the arena so we could at least use part of it ,got up this morning and it had snowed again!!!!!!
Now its raining but not making much difference to the snow.
So no regionals for us
Just when the horse is going well!
Never mind just have to get him qualified for the summers at elementry.Fancy some young horse classes as well for him.
Oh and yes im going to get my into gear and do some ridden classes.Not been out undersaddle for a few years now so that should be fun!
I seem to of lost my rides to the younger members of the household and become head horsebox driver and groom again!

Sympathise completely - we're in exactly the same boat. Eventing season starts in 3 weeks and we haven't been able to do as much preparation as we want because the surfaces are frozen.
Sorry you didn't make it to the regionals but just think of getting there in the balmy breeze of a British summer, with the warm sun higlighting his gleaming coat and how magnificent that rosette will look when the sun glints off it, and you have to squint your eyes in the bright sun to read his score sheet.
OK maybe I'm suffering snow madness but we can all hope?!?!?!?!?!?! (I mean about the weather - not the regionals - you KNOW you'll get that)
