Yes but no scanner. The Derbyshire County archives [Records office] at Matlock have loads of stuff from Tadsor. Luckily one of the people sorting things outafter Hildas death is/was an archavist.[sp?]. She realised the value of preserving things and as far as I know its all in boxes stored away there, loads of info and history. Someone really should write a book. |

I bought a Tadsor bred mare by El Attorlando, was our first pure bred. We have her daughter, and the daughter of another Tadsor bred mare.
I defy ANYONE to show me horses with better temperaments, and built to ride. |

I'm pleased to add that much of the Tadsor Stud's paperwork is now safe in the hands of Derby(Matlock) Records Office, much of what I was interested in and the old names and breeding I've managed to sort out as a result of the records office. Wish there was photographs to compliment many of these horses. I was able to confirm which horses were sold at Beeston market in 2003. The stud reference is. D6763. Sue |

Thank You Melynda.(El Kahira(Iridos/Radiance) Pat, Six went on welfare and according to the notes, there bill amounted to £910 month, I believe these horses were sold to help pay these costs. I think you may be able to sort this information ( which were sold at the sale) by searching on line in the Matlock records office, ref. D6763. I think I was able to comfirn these were the horses. Karambeau was bought(rescued) by a pal of mine in Nth Wales, we saw him in October 2003, he was recovering and still looked amazing. Khadora ( the Grey) had a lump in her neck and was bought by a local lady.
Prince Karambeau(Bay) Prince Arrogrance(Chestnut) Sharondassan (Pumpkin)(Bay) Prince Radiaitor'dor(Squirty)(Chestnut) Princess Khadora (Grey) Sharondara

One of her grooms tried to get her to let us have arrogance and sharondara when they were both only about 6, we did not ask it was her grooms idea, but because we had one horse that was a quarter spanish would not let them come.
things that might have been different. |

Suddenly realised I have got two more pictures of El Attorlando (from the Pony Stallion Guide 1971).
Advert says "Power, Energy, Speed and Stamina are all contained in Champion El Attorlando and will be transmitted to your mare to produce a super foal. There may never be a perfect horse but provided your mare meets with his approval, El Attorlando, with 100% fertility, will accept the challenge.
A Ridden and in Hand Champion - worthy descendant of Hanstead's Supreme Champions Count Orlando, Count Dorsaz and General Grant"
