We awoke to heavy snow and are cut off once again.
Couldn't resist putting some on here for you to see. Tim my dog gets in nearly every shot!!
My garden

This poor tree is laden with snow just outside the stables.

I couldn't believe it Sue when I drew back the curtains and the blustery night had blown snow hard against our windows. Cornwall is cut off this morning with the A30 closed between Okehampton and Bodmin and the A38 is closed from Exeter due to Haldon hill having a foot of snow and lorries and cars are stranded on that long hall up the hill. Great, I love it as long as the horses are all tucked up in warm beds, plenty of hay and water. |

I love it too, but hate cleaning up every time the dog comes in when he is glued with snow!!
Glad I'm not in Cornwall, sounds bad. We don't know what is happening any further than the end of our lane!! My horses have plenty of hay and straw, all snuggled up in rugs in their stables.
Keep warm. |

I see Tim gets those 'snowballs' attached to his fur My Lhasa Apso used to get them on the ends of his long coat, they took ages to thaw out. Rained a lot here in Hampshire yesterday and last night, but it's just started snowing again |

Hi Sue was thinking about you this morning - hope you are stocked up on supplies. At least Monty and his girls are tucked up. I travel the A38 regularly to see my Mum in Plymouth - almost went this week as it was my daughter's birthday yesterday. Glad we changed our plans. Keep warm everyone. Anne x |

Great Pics....Loving your little Dog, hes a cutie Your snowscenes are lovely. Its amazing how mother nature can transform an ordinary view into a snow white winter wonderland
Know what you mean about your dog, coming in after a snow game all `glued` up with the white stuff We have two JR`s and a small terrier very like your little fellow. He turned up at our yard all bedraggled and in poor condition, some four years ago, and we adopted him..he thinks he is in canine heaven now His fur is like a sheeps wool, and the snow clings so much, he looks like a snowman when he`s had a few rolls!!
Like yourself, in our own white world (not as much as you though)
Plenty of food and drink for Horses, Dogs and Peeps, so we just fine all warm and cosy in our nests.

Anne, the A38 is now open, only one lane. Don't even try to come to Devon.
We would love to have overnighters, but you can't even get to our lane now, so I can't offer a bed for the night. I wanted to walk up the lane to take some more snowy photos of the farm land around us, but am absolutely worn out from doing very little!! this snowy weather wears you down.
Babs, your photos are at least sunny and stunning, mine seem very dull. ! It is still snowing on and off today and the sky still looks dark and grey. More to come I fear, Timmy will disappear
In all of this, I have two mares in season they must be joking!!! |

Just managed three more...
Our place is in the middle of the wooded area! The sun is shining in the background over Exmoor.
Devon lanes were built with high banks to avoid snow building up in the road.
For Lanabanana....snow balls on my dogs legs he has just had a bath.

It all looks so lovely when your sitting by a lovely warm fire . hope everyone whose snowed in is alright we've hardly had any snow here it all looks so pretty on pictures but as usual this country just wasnt prepared for something that had been expected for a while. Keep safe and warm and hope all the horses are ok |
