Having bought ewes in lamb to help with grazing. Which mineral lick will we be able to use? I believe cooper in the red licks will be harmful to the sheep. I was hoping to have one compatible for both animals.

Any ideas anyone?

I have the Red Rockies for the horses.
If I remember correctly, it says on the label which animal it is/isn't suitable for. So its probably a case of read the label first - sorry can't be of more help.

Julie, no no to red rockies with sheep - we use the yellow ones. If you look on the rockies label they will say which is not suitable for sheep.

Hi Julie,
The Rockies blocks are manufactured by Tithebarn, www.tithebarn.co.uk. Yes you are quite right that one of the 'minerals' are not compatible with sheep, either copper or magnesium... Also the high cobalt and selenium content block might not be beneficial to the horses as too high selenium and cobalt may be poisonous to the horses... hum!
Best check with Tithebarn rep / head office or your local distributor (Mole Valley/ Scats?) Incidentally, on the subject of Tithebarn, I would also recommend a couple of their products...
Bloom 'N Sheen (For maintenance) And Thermovite (For foaling) great stuff!
T :-) x
