Thanks Very Much, I think this one is in Wales and might belong to Hillary Kaye, Just want to know how he is bred, size and if there is any Arab or QH in his breeding and what sort of bone he has..or any other info, I can't find him on the Allbreeds so I don't know if I've spelt his name OK. Thanks Sue |

Thanks for that Mandy, I am interested to find out if this stallion has any Arab in his breeding and if yes, which & where. I now realize that Hilary is still doing endurance with EGB and that the mare Barley Sugar, who's on Salty jack's pedigree, did some endurance with Hilary some time ago. Can you ask if she ownes this stallion and is there any arab in the breeding and does she also own Sallyandar(GSB) or did she. Thanks Very Much, Sue |

Hi Sue, I talked to Hilary briefly today, Salty Jack has no Arab breeding at all, Hilary lost his dam Barley Sugar a few years ago. She has a few foals due by him this year.
I've also realised his sire Champagne Charlie is also not far from here, I know vey little about Appaloosa breeding other that they carry Spanish genes ! but I think he would be called a few spot appy, not sure if thats right,
Let me know if you need anything else

Thanks Mandy and everyone, Hilary did do a bit of endurance with Barley Sugar, but as you've already confirmed there no Arab in the breeding and very few (hard to find) spots on the 15.2hh 6 year old bay mare, I was looking at for a pal who was after a blanket spot. So Sea Shanty is still for sale to a good home, bred by Hilary and must have been sold on as she was purchased at Leominster sale last year, after getting into the hands of the meat men. saved her bacon, owner now just looking for a realy good perm home for her. Thanks for your help. Sue |
