Thanks Everyone for your lovely comments! ''Ollie'' is a lovely little fella and the first foal of Dave's mare ''Toffee''. She was an absolutely perfect maiden 'Mum' and her sweet temperament has passed to her son. He has suffered with the 'Thelwell's' all winter and in an effort to see what was under the fluff we decided to braid his 'mop' and, when it got so cold, buy him a light blanket! He has a very, very, kind, soft nature and learns very quickly, so I thought I would start gently training him and he has learnt all the basic commands very easily. Sadly, he is very dark grey, not bay, but it will make a change from 'ginger'!! He has the mind and movement to become anything under saddle, and little Robyn has watched him doing canter piroettes and flying changes and has her own plansAmby, on the other hand is teaching him to become a 'Liberty Star' |

Hi Ros...nothing special! Small saucepan of Alfa A Original, one third each, same measure, of Baileys Stud Cubes and Allen/Page Quiet Mix plus Speedibeet! Twice a day. Ad lib good hay, grass turnout every day, for a couple hours at least! He ''arrived'' in condition, with a topline and his poor mum had quite a job delivering him, hence we did not put her back in foal this yearWe thought it would be interesting for 'folks' to see a ''modern'' bred foal not show clipped up, au natural, with a bit of ''tidying''!! Would love to see the pics of your boy Bev. Ollie's sire, Keyser Soze, is a fab mover and has a very kind temperament |

He looks a lovely boy, and I can't believe he's grey under that bay coat! Bet he'll take a long time to go white though! |

Wow he looks lovely. Huge mover by the looks of it as well?
How on earth can you tell that he will be grey? I keep looking at pics and the only place I can guess is by his muzzle? Probably completely wrong but intrigued.
I wonder what his main role in life will be, dressage or showing?
Many congrats

Hi Ros, thanks for that but the website hasn't been updated in over 12 months and many of our horses are no longer with us....however we will have a few showing this year including a superb Marwan 2 year old colt out of a Besson Carol daughter and a 2 year old Imperial Baarez son out of Imperial Orashan. Big hello to Bev(lets)Hi Bev, hope you are all well, will give you a ring soon re Dylan and Jimmy....David/Jean, sorry for butting in on Ollies thread but it's not often I get on these days...... |

Hi Pat!! How are you? Thanks for your nice words...it was a shock to see him on Page 1 again!! Dave and I are trying to bring him up like a good little ''Crabbet'' boy!!!! Sadly, Ollie is a bit poorly at the mo due to reacting to his first Flu/tet shot...anyone else had this problem? |

We were warned that the 'flu jabs have been changed to come in line with Europe and may cause a reaction. Luckily so far we haven't had problem. (this from our vet)
