Oh, such lovely pics. Shame they're not a bit bigger so I can see them better! Looks like you had a lovely time...wish I lived closer to a beach!

Lovely photos. Looks like nice firm sand too. You do look like you are having fun. Do you have braking issues on all that flat sand? I live on a beach so brought Spider down here last week when it was too frosty everywhere else. Not sure I really trust the ground though. We seem to have big sink holes on some parts of the beach so it isnt terribly safe. I am planning to find a more horse friendly one further down the coast. |

For all the beach lovers.....SERC Galloway Branch runs a 40 mile (64km) ride on the 5th April (approx 30 miles out of the 40 are glorious flat firm sand beach). It's called the Bareagle ride and is located near Stranraer. Overnight stabling can be pre-booked nearby with the ride organiser. Anyone fancy coming along, PM me for more details |

Lovely pics! We have two great beaches for training on near us and it really helps to be able to do some consistent canter work. Hmmmmm. I feel a trip out this weekend coming on.....!
Dreammagic - I'm contemplating transporting my horse all the way from Dover, Kent to the borders to do one of the SERC rides - probably not this year now, hopefully nexy year. So if I can do it, you can do it!!! |
