Thanks to Ria, I have finally managed to upload photos on to my post.Just thought I would share my new little baby with you. No she is not an Arab but a very beautiful 12 week old Alpaca girl called Victoria. My dear friend bought her for me as a Christmas present to join my herd of 14. She is just sooooo gentle and runs up to me where we share kisses and cuddles.I adore her. There are also photos of some ( not all ) of my Beautiful Alpacas including Minor (RIP) he is the black one, my German Shepherd Sebastian, Mia my Cavalier, Pusskins, Huggy Bear my 26 yr old Welsh who still does Endurance and of course my one and only Arab HT Orient ( Orion). I do hope they all turn out Okay.

Fantastic pictures, I love the Alpacas what do you do with them. I know someone in Wales that backpacks with them as a business, ie people can walk with the Alpacas and take a packed lunch. I love your dogs and you Arab is just stunning. Well done.

Fabulous piccies!! Your Alpaca's are sooooo cute Must admit I don't know the first thing about them though Would be really interesting to know more about them! Do you have to get the farrier to trim their feet? Worming? Feeding? etc etc |

Thanks everyone, I adore all my animal family, I am so proud of them. The Alpacas just enrich your life, they are gentle timid creatures , very inquisitive, calming to look at, if you are sad or stressed you just go and sit by them, watch them eat, drink, play, move. At dusk they go bonkers and leap around for joy, galloping like springbox with their tails up high, almost replica of Arabs strutting their stuff. They graze and keep your grass down and yes you can bond with them so they will eat out of your hands and you can halter train them and take them for walks. The horses just ignore them, my dogs want to play with them. They mainly eat grass and hay/haylage , and feed is supplemented as necessary with a special mix. They can be very cheeky but as Roseanne said soooooo endearing. It was thanks to Roseanne my little band of just two little boys initially ended up as 6. Now I have 9 boys and 4 girls. Three are expecting 'cria' 'babies' this year. If anyone of you ever come up to Lancashire please give us a buzz and we can go Alpaca walking. Thankyou for all your lovely comments.

Hi Kora,
what lovely pictures of a very beautiful family! I do love alpacas, but not as much as my OH does. It's a shame you're so far away from us - he'd LOVE to come and meet them all. We hope to set up our own small-holding in a few years, and he wants a couple of Alpacas around to brighten the place up!!
