Hi,
Calling on any technically minded people out there.....
Could someone please put this picture of Kosmos (Aboud / Dancing Solitaire) onto allbreedpedigree for me?
It is on my Flickr account and hopefully I will have managed to attach it here.
There are not many photos of him about and I thought it would be nice for folk to see him.
He is still an absolutely stunning stallion who is enjoying life in a wonderful home up here in Scotland.

Lovely to hear that he is enoying his life North of the Border. We have a gelding, possibly the first pure son of Kosmos, and he is lovely natured just like his Dad.....And Kosmos has passed on his great movement too. |

Yes, he is extremely gorgeous! If he was a human he would have been signed up for a L'Oreal hair advert with those locks,lol!!!
Firstly, thanks to Paul for putting the picture on allbreedpedigree, that was very kind of you.
Alison, thanks for your lovely comments about Kosmos, but, I'm sad to say that he is not mine. I would wish he was if he were not at the wonderful home he is now. He is with the (legendary!!) Patricia Ramsay and surrounded by beautiful mares.
Susan P, I live on the island of Bute and Kosmos is fairly nearby in Ayrshire. You were the nice lady who liked my Star of the Seasons filly, Boudicca ( aka Buffy ). Whereabouts in Scotland are you and what arabians do you have?
Haggis, what a gorgeous boy you have, you can really see the family likeness. I know Patricia will be chuffed to see a picture of him. He certainly has produced some exquisite stock.
Kirt, I knew YOU would love him... Delighted to hear all about your new girlie, photos asap!!!
Thanks to all replies about this superb example of the arabian breed!

I was going to PM you but thought I should just reply here so that I can let everyone who looks at this thread that I do not own the fabulous Kosmos. He is with Patricia Ramsay in Ayrshire. He is so delicious and has produced fab youngstock for her.
She had the (for me) incomparable Aurelian, love at first sight there!! Pandoer was there too, as was the wonderful, enigmatic Paguerra, to name but a few.
The Isle of Bute is on the west coast, about an hour from Glasgow by car. My uncle lives on the Black Isle, never visited, but might be tempted if there are gorgeous arabians in the vicinity,hee hee!! |

My filly Raziqa is by Kosmos and this side shot of him could be her too! Her mane and body shape are the same.
She is out of my mare Zariqa who is by Aurelian x Sariqa (Aboud x Saqira) and again produced in Scotland by Pat Ramsay. Saqira line mares are also producing good sound stock and her blood is 'travelling' well down the years. I got her from Sandra in 1979. She was bred by Sandra Munro and was by Shades of Silver out of Rafiqa
She went to Pat after me and stayed there till she died.
Kosmos is certainly producing some stunning and correct horses with great personalities and temperament and particularly from this female line.

If anybody wants to post a picture like this, one already on a place like flicr or photobucket, the trick is to right click on the picture and select properties.
There is an entry for 'Address', which looks like this for Kosmos

Simply select and copy from http:// until the end of .jpg using the left mouse button
In this example you will end up with

(one way of copying is to press the ctrl button (bottom left of most keyboards) and C - one way to paste is to press the ctrl button and press V - try it in word, excel, notepad or most other software, it's a hang over from the 1970's editors).
Now you can paste that into the relevant field on Allbreedpedigree, AND you no longer need an account to post a picture, unless you want it to be in the allbreed database, rather than, or as well as, on flickr etc.

Can someone please help me....?
Following on from the last posting from Misterei, I have noticed that my mare's photo (Naseekah Aurelian / Bint Nefous) on the allbreedpedigree database site has disappeared!!
This is strange as her daughter is still on there (Boudicca (Star of the Seasons / Naseekah).
Vanbro, I love the breeding of your filly, Raziqa, can we see some pictures, please!!!.
The pictures of them are all on my Flickr account (where the one of Kosmos is). I did try and put it back onto to allbreedpedigree, but as I don't have an account I have given up after trying for ages.
Many thanks if you can help me. Here is the photo below of Naseekah.

I think you tried to copy from both photobucket and flickr... When I looked at the url, there was a duplication.
I just deleted the whole lot, and copied and pasted your photograph from AL.
