Hi! I have just bought a mare from GB. Her name is G Aya Aziza by Ibn Estopa out of Ansata Aya Halima. The seller told me that she has been leased out a few times, and I would like to get in touch with people who have leased her, or anyone who have a son or daughter out of her. Anyone who knows this mare, can tell me anything about her, or even have pictures of her from her younger days, I will be so happy!
Merry Christmas everybody!
Mette

Hi Mette
I owned Aya Bhadra (Borneo x G Aya Aziza) from Feb 2006 to Oct 2007. She was born in 2001 & bred by Mr. E. Starr who was in some way connected with the Gucci/Millfield Stud. Bhadra was sold to Shirley Green as a yearling & bred a lovely bay filly by WSA Charisma in 2005. Sadly Shirley died the following year & I don't know where the filly went. I purchased Bhadra to breed to my stallion but had her backed before covering her.Unfortunately she proved a bit unpredictable and after suffering a fractured pelvis falling off her I decided that she wasn't the brood mare for me. She was sold to a lady nearby who has shown her successfully in hand including reserve supreme champion at our regional group show last year.
I hope Aziza is all you hope for.

I remember Aziza still as a foal (lovely) up until she left Millfield.
Halima was a 'very' protective mother....... ;-)
I think Silverdale leased her (if my memory is correct) if not I think they gave her a roof a comfy bed and tlc for a short time...
Try Rebecca McCormick, she may be able to shed some light. |

Thanks to all of you! I did google her and got a stallion called Ibn Aya Aziza, by Borneo. Breed by the Maxwells I think. I`ve heard that they had Aziza for some time... But this far I only have Aya Badhra & Ibn Aya Aziza out of Aziza. I would think she has more foals?? And, regarding Aziza, she`s a big beautifull mare! With a fantastic pedigree! And she`s going to Adawy (Borneo - Asiqha) for a 2010 foal.

Hi again, Well just realised that I know where ibn aya aziza is.He is a gelding and is owned by Mrs.Barbara Goss, she lives at Meshaw in North Devon. He has been shown when he was younger,I think he did quite well.If you like I could try and find her telephone number and you could give her a ring. jane |

Checked in stud book, Ryan Jones had this mare and in 2003 she had a grey colt called KHATANGA by Ora El Masri and in 2004 had a chesnut colt by Psynergy called MANHATTEN and was not covered again that year so no foalTh in 2005. The AHS should be able to help you with the next few years. Hope this is of help to you.

Please pm me if you need any information. The mare was with me for a while whilst Ryan had her on lease. Manhatten was sold to Paul and Avril Timms from Newmarket but has since been sold locally. |
