MIndy was sold on 31/12/1995 to dawn birks nr clown in derbyshire, she sold and bought her back TWICE! then to a woman called tracey in bakewell but she is still registered to dawn she has a freezemark which is possibley A8E8 ( from memory!) under her mane.
I thought I'd log on myself and add a bit more info although to be honest I'm not holding my breath because I've advertised extensively previously and didnt get anywhere!
Mindy would be 24 on 2nd January. She is/was grey with the freezemark mentioned above (I think it was somthing with A & E and 8's in it). She was Crabbet breeding (by Indrex ex Zamarah).
When I sold her it was to what I thought was an endurance home as I had done some 25 mile rides and she was fab with a really low heart rate and sure footed like a mountain goat. I wanted to do ridden showing/dressage and she had had an injury as a foal where a thin branch went right through her bottom jaw and damaged the nerves round her lips and in her mouth so she was never comfy staying on the bit for long so ridden showing was never a strong point although she'd work in an outline in a hackamore!! So I sold her on 3 months trial to start with.
The woman turned out to not be a bit of a nightmare and I offered to take her back several times which she refused. (That's a bit of a long story!!) She bought and sold her twice and then I managed to "find" her (the ex-owner) and she said she had sold her to a Tracey in Bakewell, Derbyshire who had done endurance with her. I contacted Derbyshire EGB and Jackie, their Chairlady was very helpful and posted me an ad but no-one came forward.
So if anyone does know where she is or even if she's in horse heaven I would like to know to stop me wondering.
I've PM'd you back with some more info to pass to Kastel. If it is the woman I sold her to who took her back I wonder why, if she was only going to get rid of her again, especially if she was in a good home and much loved. She doesn't have Arabs at all now only PRE horses. The plot thickens.......
