Thank you everyone for your interest over the past few months, however, we have made a difficult decision to retire from breeding horses after 20 years.
Hope you enjoy the slide show link covering that period and showing shome of the Nuhra horses at all time of the year!

Our foundation mares came from Lady May Abel-Smiths Barton Lodge Stud, and it has been a pleasure to be the costodians of this line for so many years. We have seen our youngstock go onto new and successful homes, but it is now time to pass the reins to the next generation and take things a little quieter from the ringside, as we have no youngsters of our own interested in horses! Although this is a bad time to disperse the horses in the present economic climate - this is NOT a financial decision and the mares, stallions and youngstock will be placed with 'appropriate' owners over time.
We will watch with interest the 'Nuhra' fan clubs and will be happy to assist where/when we can
All the very best Happy Christmas Melanie & Nick Gaddas-Brown Guisburn Arabians

Oh that is so sad, but I can understand that it is hard if you havew no one to follow up on your breeding programm. Hope you find them nice homes. Lots of love from Monique and Lila |

Lovely photos, It is sad to think you are giving up breeding such a wonderful line, I have owned Sayan (sayada/bayazar) for 21 years and know what lovely temperaments they have |

Thank you everyone, for your interest it has been a pleasure to own these horses, and our youngsters were the best ever, so perhaps it is best to go out when you think you have achieved what you set out to do. Slippers and cocoa are beckoning - Love the Sayada line, Marion, but then most of the descendants here go back to Sayada, so I am a little bias - Some of the mares are tested and a couple maybe in foal, so it will be interesting to see what they produce at their new homes.
