Aw, thank you for thinking of her She's ok. She's eating well, and looks a lot better. She had a charge around the field with missy a few days ago for the first time in a few weeks. it was lovely to see . She has a cow pat poo about once a day, but the vet feels it's nothing to worry about unless it gets worse. She feels the gut will take some time to repair and regrow it's flora. She's not 100%, but i don't think i'd expect that at this stage. Her bloods showed that her liver enzymes, although less elevated, were still raised. We're still no further towards knowing what caused it. So for the time being, she's back onto her normal balancer for now along with all her probiotics and immune supplement, and she's having repeat bloods in 2 weeks. thank you so much for thinking of her We went out for our first little walk today since she became ill, and she loved it. She's so nosey and inquisitive, all that went whilst she was ill. Ros x |

Great new
Just a thought but we give our horses a syringe of natural yoghurt when they have a cow pat poos as well as the pro-biotic. We were told that is lines the stomach and stops the probiotic whizzing through too quick and not being absorbed properly.

Thanks for the tip Lucy. A few other people have suggested that, so i've been adding a dollop every now and again. Thanks again for your well wishes everyone. I'll let you know when her bloods are through in a few weeks |
