Does anyone know someone who can school a 12.3 welsh pony.Princess is well behaved, but is lost when her leader isn't beside her. My daughter if finding it hard to get her to go forward, and Princess stands there looking at me as if to say what do I do now. She doesn't buck or anything, she just needs some schooling. We are in the Northwest.

She'd be ok with a small adult riding her if she's stocky (some of the welsh b's are ever so fine these days) have you tried a local livery yard or stables? how about advertising in your local tack shop? Ros |

Sarah Challinor near to us - tiny and really rides well. Yard often full though, especially this time of year so may have to book a slot! |

Linda,I'm already short enough in the legs as it is, hence why your showing sunny for me, after all Mike used to call me stumpy.
I have tried the yards round us,well the ones you'd let near your horse, and they are only interested in big hunters or eventers. I was offered a place on working livery, but I want her schooling, not ruining by kids that can't ride. Saskia wants to do pony club next summer, and is less than impressed if she sees a lead rein. She is fine hacking out, with me on my mare, it is just in the school. We have even tried getting Princess to follow the mare round, which is great, until she is on her own again. Mrs Vlacq have you got any contact details Thanks |
