On friday Rui began some moderation on the site for us. He literally took our terms and conditions of posting - to the written word and applied it to all topics. Therefore, unfortunately topics that would normally had a warning were either deleted or locked. This was not him being a tyrant just acting under our rules of posting.
In some cases a topic would have been better served to have had a " note attached " or an admin comment.
We have not added a new moderation tactic, nor are we going to be the forum Police. Instead having time away from the forum to create new features and places for members to go was what we wanted to do.
Rui has apologised for being heavy handed and again and again has been met with abuse...
Time to stop this now please.
