Kate - will never tire of seeing Tobago and his babies. They have struck at my heart strings like no one elses. (except our own boys of course ) Had the pleasure of seeing Gudrun's beautiful Tobago foal and have some lovely video of him. Please, please keep posting pics. We love them.
Golly - thank you so much! I love Gudrun's baby Tobay; he's very elegant and wow can he move! And Gudrun is one of the nicest people on the planet - a very dear friend. Tobay's grandmother is in foal to Tobago for next year, so I'm really looking foward to that one! Gudrun had another mare in foal to him as well, but sadly she reabsorbed too late to try again.
what an amazing testimony. everyone who knows me knows that i have full intention of eventually putting my mare in foal again at some point. i have seriously thought about tobago as i think he would compliment my mare. seeing his off spring only adds to my decision.
Thank you! Sarah is too kind; I really enjoy keeping in touch with all the mare-owners and following their girls' progress - it's a great pleasure and I have made so many lovely new friends through Tobago. And it's me that should be thanking them for taking a chance on a first-season stallion!
Who is your mare? We should ask Gari (Egbert) if it would be good match!
